Spring Clean Your Nutrition!

We've all heard the term "clean eating" but what does that really mean and how can it jump-start your health journey? Essentially, eating clean is eating the way that nature intended by reducing your intake of highly processed foods. This lifestyle is principally based on eating whole foods (fruits, veggies, meat, fish, eggs, etc) and avoiding an excessive amount of foods that are pre-packaged and shelf-stable. The Importance of Preventative Care

Finding a new normal is all about picking up where we left off, safely.  We can be around responsible friends and family that wear masks and practice good hygiene during this challenging time.  It’s also time to resume other things we might not want to do, but need to do to avoid more serious and chronic health risks and conditions. Of course, everyone wants to take advantage of their deductible by year-end. If you cannot get an appointment as soon as you would like in 2020, take advantage early...

Understanding Health Insurance

Understanding health insurance can be tricky! As we approach open enrollment, it’s important to understand which type of plan will best suit you and your needs. For the sake of clarity, let’s start off by defining a few terms: Deductibles: Deductibles are the amount of money you have to pay toward your health care before your coverage kicks in.
