Dr. Emery Young is a board-certified primary care physician dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain lasting health through personalized, preventive care. He focuses on building long-term relationships with patients while promoting wellness, early detection, and effective management of ongoing health concerns. One of our core values both in and out of our practice is family. Usually, the term family practice refers to a general health practice which can treat a variety of conditions, but we take the meaning a step further. We see our patients as family and offer them open communication, care, and consideration as your primary care doctor of choice in Ballantyne, Union County and South Charlotte.

With most medical offices constantly changing; Sensenbrenner Primary Care rarely changes. The front desk is great. If I need something on short notice this office finds a way to make it happen! Tonya Fraser, PA-C is always willing to help in any way possible. I don’t plan on changing practices any time soon.
The staff are always pleasant and personable. I find them easy to talk with. Dr. Sensenbrenner gives me as much time as I need and is very thorough when explaining medical things with me.
This place is great. From Heather helping up front to Lori helping with my care. I definitely recommend this primary care.

If your concern is not resolved after speaking with Quest, your next step should be to contact your insurance provider. Be sure to review your insurer’s specific coverage and policies related to lab testing.
If you still need assistance after contacting both Quest and your insurance company, you may reach out to our office. To help us review your inquiry as efficiently as possible, please include the following information:
- Date of service
- Denied CPT code and test description listed on the invoice
- Bill number (located at the top right corner of the statement)
- You may also upload a copy of your Quest invoice through your patient portal.
Can I schedule a visit online?
Not currently. Many patients utilize the patient portal to initiate desired visit dates and times.
When can I expect my prescriptions to be refilled?
All prescriptions and refills are handled within 48 hours except on weekends.
I am interested in the MDVIP program, how can I schedule a consultation?
Give us a call at 704-887-1101 or if an existing patient you can also inquire using your patient portal and address to the manager.
