John W. Sensenbrenner, MD

Dr. Sensenbrenner grew up in the Weddington-Waxhaw area and has been practicing medicine in Charlotte since 1987. He is a graduate of Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, N.C. and East Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Sensenbrenner states, “God called me into the ministry of healing at the age of 15. I have followed that calling and give my best every day to be a blessing and servant to my patients.”

His expertise in medicine includes:

• Hypertension

• Obesity and Weight loss

• Geriatrics

Dr. Sensenbrenner lives in Marvin, N.C. three miles from where he grew up. He and his wife, Kim, have been married since 1984 and have two children, Adam and Eric.

Eric Sensenbrenner, DO

Dr. Eric Sensenbrenner grew up in Waxhaw, NC and extends his thanks to the family, friends, teachers, adult leaders, and church community that nurtured and guided him on his journey. He achieved his Eagle Scout award and graduated from Marvin Ridge High School in 2010. He completed his undergraduate studies at Appalachian State University in 2014. During his collegiate journey, he embarked on a South African medical internship that opened his eyes to a resourceful and holistic approach to medicine. Ultimately, this experience encouraged him to pursue osteopathic medicine.

His expertise in medicine includes:

• Adult Acute

• Chronic Medicine

• Preventative medicine

•  Management of chronic disease

•  Management of acute illness

Tonya M. Fraser, PA-C

Tonya is a graduate of the College of Charleston and the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She has been practicing since 2000 and joined Sensenbrenner Primary Care in 2007. Tonya is especially interested in preventive health issues such as hypertension, diabetes and women’s health issues.

Her expertise includes care for:

• Hypertension

• Diabetes

• Mental Health concerns

Tyler J. Hyslep, PA-C

Originally from Massachusetts, Tyler moved to Wilmington, North Carolina to attend UNCW where he received a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2010. After graduating, he worked at a group home for individuals with Autism. For PA school he attended Wingate University and graduated in 2014.

His medical expertise includes care for:

• Preventive Medicine

• Diabetes

• Obesity

Tyler lives in the area with his wife and daughter and look forward to meeting with patients to address acute and chronic concerns.

Lori Blanchard Eaton, NP-C

Lori completed her training at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Elon University. Since 2011 she has been a board-certified Nurse Practitioner caring for patients age 13 and older. Additionally, she is certified to care for patients with dementia and is currently pursuing a certification as a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practioners.

Her medical expertise includes care for:

• Diabetes

• Dementia

• General care for patients over 13

Prior to joining Sensenbrenner Primary Care, Lori worked in a variety of specialties including Cardiology, Medical & Surgical Intensive Care, and Palliative Care. Notably, she had the privilege of working as a private nurse for the office of Ronald Reagan following his presidency. Lori is married and has two Australian Shepherds named Patch and Jack. She enjoys attending Calvary Church, serving on mission trips, traveling, cooking, and exercising.
