Important Announcement from SPC
After more than four decades of dedicated care, Dr. Sensenbrenner will officially retire at the end of this year. His final day in the office will be December 29, 2025.
We will miss him greatly, but we are also incredibly happy for him as he steps into a new season—one filled with time for grandchildren and the opportunity to pursue interests and hobbies he has long looked forward to.
As part of this transition, Dr. Sensenbrenner is proud to have Dr. Emery Young assume the care of his patients. Having worked directly with Dr. Young, he strongly endorses him as both an exceptional physician and a trusted colleague. Patients can feel confident knowing their care will remain in capable, compassionate hands.
For current or prospective MDVIP patients, please note that on December 29, 2025, Dr. Young will transition into the MDVIP-affiliated practice. Through a membership-based model, MDVIP allows physicians to significantly reduce their patient panel size and devote more time to prevention, early detection, and individualized care. Patients benefit from same- or next-day appointments, longer visits, and a comprehensive annual wellness program designed to support long-term health and wellbeing.
Most importantly, our SPC team—providers, nurses, staff, and our referral partners—will remain the same. For 22 years, our continuity has been one of our greatest strengths, and that is not changing. You can continue to count on us. Thank you for your patience and trust as we move through this transition together.
To give you an opportunity to say thank you and best wishes to Dr. Sensenbrenner and to properly welcome Dr. Young, we’d like to cordially invite you to an upcoming event that we are hosting on Monday, December 15 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at The Ballantyne located at 10000 Ballantyne Commons Parkway in Charlotte.
Thank you for your continued support of Sensenbrenner Primary Care. We look forward to serving you and your families for many years to come.
