Healthy Hot Cocoa Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1-2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or any preferred sweetener (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
- A pinch of sea salt
Instructions:
- In a small saucepan, heat the almond milk over medium heat until it’s hot but not boiling.
- Add the cocoa powder, sweetener, vanilla extract, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of sea salt to the saucepan.
- Whisk the mixture continuously until everything is well combined and the cocoa powder has dissolved completely.
- Let it simmer for a couple of minutes, stirring occasionally, to ensure the flavors meld together.

- Remove from heat and pour the hot cocoa into a mug.
- Optionally, top with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a few mini marshmallows.
