This warm and flavorful tonic contains turmeric, ginger, and lemon. It’s easy to make and will help keep your immune system strong!
1 Tbsp fresh grated turmeric
1 Tbsp fresh grated ginger
1 whole lemon (juiced)
1-2 tsp maple syrup
1 pinch cayenne pepper (or black pepper)
3 cups of filtered water
Add ingredient so a saucepan over medium heat. Bring it to a simmer. Stir for 3 to 5 minutes. Pour through a strainer. Serves 2 people! Enjoy hot or cold. If it’s too potent, you can add more water.
